Two vertical-diagonal strokes below a letter producing a nasalized '-in' sound. E.g. بٍ is read 'Bin'.

Stopping on Kasratān (Waqf)
When stopping on a Kasratān word, the nasal sound is dropped completely and it falls to a silent Sukūn stop (e.g. نَفْسٍ becomes نَفْسْ).
